What does "Lifetime" mean?
Bsö covers Cargo Bags for as long as the original owner/purchaser keeps
the bag.
Repairs necessitated by normal wear and tear, accident, improper care or
use, negligence, or natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time
and use, are not covered under our guarantee.
Does the "Lifetime Guarantee" cover personal belongings that have been stored in
Bsö packs or accessories?
Personal items that have sustained damage while stored in a Bsö pack or accessory
are not covered under the "Lifetime Guarantee". Common sense should be exercised
in storing expensive and sensitive electronic or optical equipment in backpacks
and bags that are not manufactured specifically for that purpose.
Are rips and tears covered under the "Lifetime Guarantee"?
Any rip or tear that is caused by pack or accessory defect is covered under the
"Lifetime Guarantee", however:
- If a rip or tear is caused by an accident, improper care, negligence,
a sharp knife, fire, or natural breakdown of color and/or material over extended
time and use, Bsö will not repair or replace free of charge.
- The determination of whether a rip or tear is due to defective workmanship
or materials, or due to accident, improper care, negligent use or natural breakdown
of product will be made at Bsö' sole discretion.
Is normal wear and tear covered under the "Lifetime Guarantee"?
Bsö designs and manufactures every product with exceptional attention to detail
and quality. However, no matter how carefully one uses our product it is still subject
to normal wear over time and with repetitive use.
Even though Bsö guarantees
each of their products from defects for a lifetime, they do not include coverage
for normal wear and tear.
